Formpost

Terms of Service

Last updated 3 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Formpost. They are deliberately short — a service this simple does not need forty pages of legal text.

1.The agreement

By creating an access key or an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.

Formpost provides a hosted endpoint that receives form submissions from your website, filters them, and delivers them to you by email and any destinations you configure.

2.Your account

Keep your login credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Access keys are designed to be public and are not credentials — losing one does not compromise your account.

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the service.

3.Acceptable use

Use the service for forms on sites you control. Do not use it to send unsolicited bulk email, to relay mail to addresses you do not own, to harvest data deceptively, or to collect information you have no lawful basis to collect.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent plan limits, or probe for vulnerabilities without permission. Automated load beyond documented rate limits may be throttled or blocked.

We may suspend an account that is causing harm to the service or to third parties. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.

4.Plans, billing, and refunds

The free plan is free and stays free. Paid plans bill monthly in advance through our payment processor and renew until cancelled.

Cancel any time from the billing portal. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, after which the account returns to the free plan. We do not pro-rate partial months, but if the service failed to do what it promised, write to us and we will make it right.

Prices may change. Existing subscribers get at least thirty days' notice before a change affects them.

5.Quotas

Each plan includes a monthly submission allowance. When the allowance is used up, the endpoint returns an error to your visitors until the next period begins or you upgrade. Stored submissions are never deleted for exceeding a quota.

Submissions rejected as spam or blocked by your own settings do not count toward the allowance.

6.Your content

Submissions belong to you and the people who sent them. We claim no ownership. We store and transmit them solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what your forms collect and for complying with the law where your visitors are.

7.Availability

We work to keep the endpoint available and fast, but the service is provided as-is, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.

Email delivery depends on receiving mail servers we do not control. A message accepted by the endpoint is not a guarantee that a third-party inbox will accept it.

8.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business or lost messages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9.Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate an account for a material breach of these terms, or with thirty days' notice if we discontinue the service. In the latter case we will help you export your data.

10.Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to account holders before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
